ISAS Standard

The ISAS Standard, jointly developed by The College of Radiographers and The Royal College of Radiologists, is specifically aimed at UK organisations providing diagnostic imaging services in both the NHS and the private sector.

"While The College of Radiographers (CoR) and The Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) have taken reasonable steps to ensure that the accreditation Standard is fit for the purpose of accrediting the providers of imaging services in the UK, this is not warranted and (to the maximum extent permitted by law) neither the CoR nor the RCR will have any liability to the service provider or any other person in the event that the accreditation Standard is not fit for such purpose."

"While CoR and RCR have taken reasonable steps to ensure that this accreditation Standard is fit for the purpose of accrediting the providers of imaging services in the UK, the provision of imaging services by the service provider in accordance with such Standard does not guarantee that the service provider will comply with its legal obligations to any third party (including the proper discharge of any duty of care) in providing such imaging services."
